Vivo introduced the new member of the V series, Vivo V80, in India. The phone stands out especially with its 7200 mAh battery, 6.59 inch AMOLED screen and Zeiss supported triple rear camera system. The fact that Vivo V80 carries a high-capacity battery despite its relatively compact screen size is one of the main features that distinguishes the device from similar models in the V series. While the phone has Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz is offered on the screen side. In addition, Vivo offers the model for sale in the Indian market with three different storage options and three color alternatives.
Vivo V80’s 6.59-inch AMOLED screen supports Full HD + resolution as well as a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. The highest declared brightness value of the panel is up to 5000 nits, however, such peak brightness values usually do not express the brightness that can be achieved continuously throughout the entire screen. The Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 platform is responsible for the performance of the phone and all versions have 8 GB of RAM. On the storage side, three different capacity options are offered: 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB. While this hardware combination positions the V80 as a strong alternative in the upper middle segment rather than the flagship class, the 144 Hz screen stands out especially in terms of gaming and interface fluency.
Vivo V80 camera system uses three Zeiss-supported sensors
On the camera side, there is a triple system with Zeiss support on the back of the Vivo V80. While the main camera uses a 50 megapixel resolution Sony LYT-700V sensor, optical image stabilization and autofocus support is also offered. In addition to shooting 4K cinematic video, this camera can record 60 frames per second at 4K resolution. The second 50-megapixel camera consists of a telephoto unit with a Sony IMX882 sensor and supports 3x optical zoom along with optical image stabilization; The third camera has an 8 megapixel resolution ultra wide angle sensor. Since the 50-megapixel wide-angle camera on the front also has autofocus support, it can offer more flexible use than fixed-focus front cameras, especially in video calls and close-range selfies.
One of the most striking hardware features of the phone is its 7200 mAh capacity battery. Vivo complements this high-capacity battery with 90W wired fast charging support, thus aiming to reduce the disadvantage that a large battery may pose in terms of charging time. The device is also among the first phones to come out of the box with OriginOS 7 based on Android 17. In addition, the fingerprint reader placed on the screen, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC and eSIM support are included in the feature list. Dust and water resistance at IP69 level also ensures that the phone offers stronger protection, especially for use in outdoor conditions.

Aluminum frame and glass back surface were preferred in the body of Vivo V80. Although the phone is 7.79 mm thick and weighs 210 grams, it contains a high-capacity battery of 7200 mAh. Three color options are offered for sale in India: Horizon Blue, Star Black and Sunrise Tune. While the starting model with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage carries a price of 62,999 rupees (32,185 TL), the version with 256 GB storage is priced at 69,999 rupees (35,760 TL), and the top option with 512 GB capacity is priced at 79,999 rupees (40,871 TL).
