LG continues to make product announcements just days before CES 2025. The company introduced the PF600U and CineBeam S models designed for lifestyle. LG CineBeam S and PF600U offer features that address different usage scenarios along with innovative technologies.
PF600U stands out as a projector designed in the size of a stylish LED floor lamp. It also offers Bluetooth speaker and LED ambient light features. CineBeam S (PU615U) stands out as LG’s most compact 4K ultra short throw (UST) projector. Equipped with a Dolby Atmos supported stereo sound system, this model aims to offer a minimal and powerful projection experience.
PF600U provides 300 ANSI lumens brightness and Full HD (FHD) resolution with its RGBB LED light source. The device, which has a contrast ratio of 150,000:1, can present image sizes between 30 and 120 inches with a reflectance ratio of 1.2. The projector supports HDR and HLG image formats and provides ease of use with automatic screen settings.
There are stereo speakers integrated into the body of the device. There are also HDMI and USB Type-C ports. On the software side, the webOS operating system is used. Wireless screen mirroring support from Android and iOS devices is also among the features of the projector.
CineBeam S (PU615U) is the smallest 4K UST projector LG has ever produced, with its box-shaped design measuring 110 x 160 x 160 mm. This device, which can offer image sizes between 40 and 100 inches with a reflectance ratio of 0.25, promises an impressive visual performance with 500 ANSI lumens brightness and 450,000:1 contrast ratio. Supporting HDR 10 and HLG standards, CineBeam S offers a wide color palette by covering 154 percent of the DCI-P3 color space.
The projector is equipped with a stereo sound system with Dolby Atmos support. There is also support for screen mirroring from Android and iOS devices with the webOS operating system. HDMI and USB-C ports are also among the connection options of the device.
LG will announce details about CineBeam S and PF600U at CES 2025
LG has not yet shared any information about the prices and release dates of its new projectors. More details are expected to be announced during the CES 2025 event, which starts on January 7.
