Samsung has been developing the Game Booster feature for mobile players for a long time and providing various tools for users who want to increase game performance. This feature offers options such as changing performance settings, optimizing screen renewal speed, and preventing overheating by controlling the charging management of the device while playing games. The company has now announced a new application called Game Booster+, which brings this experience even further. This was developed as a module integrated into Samsung’s Good Lock Ecosystem, and allows users to control the game settings in more detail. Game Booster+ was first released in Korea via the Galaxy Store and offered to mobile players.
The Game Booster+ application includes three basic features that allow players to customize game experiences according to their personal preferences. These features; Game controller consists of changing key assignments, activating certain GPU settings and defining applications that are not classified as games. Each offers advanced tools designed to optimize mobile game performance. Especially for users who want to make fine adjustments in game performance, these new options become remarkable.
Graphic and Control Settings are expanded with Game Booster+ application
The first option offered by the application stands out as the game controller key assignment feature. Users can reconstruct the keys of external game controllers as they wish and create customized control schemes for different types of game. Samsung offers the opportunity to add four different profiles to this feature, allowing users to create separate settings for different games. In this way, different key assignments can be used in a racing game.
In addition, the second important feature of Game Booster+offers the ability to intervene directly in the GPU processing unit (GPU) settings. In this section, there are two basic GPU settings for users: Pretransform and Texture Filter. Pretransform setting, especially in vulcan -based games, aims to provide a more fluent game experience by reducing the burden of screen rotation on the GPU. Texture Filter, on the other hand, offers three different options (default, performance and quality), making it possible to adjust the texture quality to user preferences. Thanks to these settings, you can choose between both high quality graphics and a more fluent game experience.
On the other hand, the third important feature, the game category settings, offers the opportunity to manually add applications that are not defined as a game to the game category. Some games, which are not normally supported by Game Booster, can be optimized with this feature and can be operated with better performance. This feature can be very useful especially for games installed from outside Google Play or games perceived as a standard application by the system.
Samsung has presented the Game Booster+ application only through the Galaxy Store in South Korea. However, some technology enthusiasts and developers have released the APK file of this application and opened access in different regions. Despite everything, users are recommended to download applications only from official sources for safe software experience. Applications installed through APK files may include security risks and care should be taken.
In addition to all these, there is no explanation that Samsung will present the Game Booster+ to the global market in the future. However, such innovations are thought to be important for users who want to personalize their mobile game performance. It seems likely that the company will bring this application to a wider audience in time.
