Redmi 15 5G will force its class with its large screen and giant battery

Redmi’s new smartphone model Redmi 15 5G leaks revealed remarkable technical details. The device promises a larger display, higher performance and longer battery life compared to previous members of the series. Located in the input segment, this model blinks the middle segment with its features. With this model, Xiaomi is trying to re-establish the price-performance balance.

The most prominent feature of Redmi 15 5G is the 6.9 -inch screen. This screen draws attention not only with its size, but also with its technical values. The 1080p+ resolution and 144Hz renewal rate are rarely seen in the segment. Considering that Redmi usually uses a 720p+ screen in the past, this means a significant recovery.

Redmi 15 5G model will force the segment on performance, battery and screen

With the pluses on the screen, the processor preference goes beyond the usual patterns. The device will come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor. This chipset offers a higher class performance than the Snapdragon 4 series, which Redmi preferred in previous number 5G models. Developed with the 6NM production process, this processor also provides an advantage in terms of energy efficiency.

The phone’s memory options are also very reasonable. Up to 8 GB RAM and storage capacity of up to 256 GB will be presented to the user. This configuration is at a level that can meet daily use. It is not expected to create any bottleneck in transitions or light games between applications.

Redmi 15 5G is also ambitious about the battery. The device is equipped with a huge battery with a capacity of 7000 mAh. This capacity has been seen in only two models among Redmi branded devices. Although 33W charging support is quite modest, such a large battery is expected to use up to two days.

On the camera side, a simpler structure was adopted. In the back, the main camera of 50 megapixels is accompanied by a 2 -megapixel auxiliary sensor. On the front is a selfie camera with an 8 Megapixel resolution. It can be said that it is focused on basic needs in the camera.

But hardware simplicity is balanced by some practical features. NFC support is included in this model, which can be considered as an important plus, especially in markets where the use of contactless payment becomes widespread. While this support is not provided in some regions, the arrival of Redmi 15 5G with NFC increases functionality in terms of daily use. This shows that the device exceeds expectations at the entry level.

According to Malaysian -based leaks, the price of Redmi 15 5G will be between 699 and 750 Malaysian Ringgiti (6707 to 7197 TL). This corresponds to a return of about 165 to 180 dollars. For users who take care of the price-performance balance, this label offers a very accessible option. It can become a remarkable alternative, especially for those looking for a large screen and long battery -life device.

Redmi 15 5G’s promotion date is not yet clear. However, the intensity of the leaks suggests that the launch is not too far. However, the 4G -connected Redmi 15C model is expected to be introduced soon. The two devices seem to have separate promotional calendars.
