OnePlus 13’s flat-edge design leaked

New leaks about the design and features of OnePlus 13 reveal that the phone will have a flat-edged structure. According to images shared on Weibo and quickly removed, OnePlus will abandon the curved edge design of its previous models and switch to flat edges. This design will visually give the device a modern and simple appearance and will offer users a more ergonomic grip. The flat-edged design, which has been preferred by major manufacturers such as Apple, Samsung and Google in recent years, indicates that OnePlus has also renewed its design language.

Flat edges, bigger battery and more

Another striking detail among the leaked features of OnePlus 13 is its large battery. It is stated that the phone will have a capacity of 6,000 mAh and will support 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging. This battery will allow users to charge their phones for longer periods of time despite intensive use. This development on the battery side seems to provide a significant advantage, especially for high-performance uses.

The phone is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. This new generation processor will be introduced at the Snapdragon event to be held by Qualcomm at the end of October. OnePlus 13 will be positioned as a high-performance flagship with this chipset. This new processor will provide a significant advantage, especially for users who play games and need high processing power for multitasking.

Another striking detail in the design of OnePlus 13 may be the ceramic body. This premium material will ensure that the device offers a more durable and luxurious feel. It is also among the leaked information that the phone will come with an almost frameless 6.8-inch flat screen. Thanks to its ultrasonic fingerprint reader, the device is expected to offer an improved experience in terms of security and ease of use.

In addition to these features, OnePlus 13 is expected to come with options up to 24 GB RAM. This stands out as one of the highest RAM capacities on the market and will enable the phone to easily perform many operations at the same time.

The OnePlus 13 model is planned to be introduced in China at the end of October and is expected to be offered to different markets in early 2025 after the global launch.
