New filters added to Google Drive for Android

Google's cloud storage solution, Google Drive, continues to be the choice of users with its constantly added new features and high reliability. Google is known for constantly adding new features to its cross-platform compatible app. The company's latest move was to add new filters to the Google Drive application on Android. This feature was introduced to Android users a month after it was added to the iOS version.

New filters that allow easy file finding in Google Drive

With the latest update to the Google Drive application for Android, Google provides great convenience for users to find their files. Filter categories, located just below the search bar at the top of the screen, allow you to filter files according to criteria such as File Type, Owners and Last Modified date. This makes finding files easier than ever. You can narrow down the file you are looking for with more filter options on the search results page.

All Google Workspace users will be able to access this updated version in the coming days. Some users may have already received this new version. You can look for the update on the Google Play Store by going to the “My Apps” section of the app and then clicking the “Update” button.

Google has added many new features to Google Drive over the last few years. Last year, it significantly improved Google Drive for foldable phones and tablets through a multi-column user interface and a navigation bar on the left side of the screen. It also brought Dark Mode and a document scanner feature to the app.

This update aims to enable users to access files faster and more intuitively. Google Drive continues to offer a seamless experience across different operating systems, with its user-friendly interface and rich feature set. With this latest update from Google, Google Drive becomes even more useful for Android users.
