Hipstamatic’s new app collects all the party photos for you

Hipstamatic, known for photography, aims to offer a digital version of disposable film cameras at weddings or events with its new app, Party! Disposable Camera. Hosts who want to collect snapshots taken by their guests no longer have to deal with photo development fees. However, the app is free for groups of up to five people.

The Hipstamatic Party! app basically aims to simplify the process of gathering all the photos taken by the guests during the event. Guests can download the app and join the event with a special QR code created by the host. All the photos taken in this way are collected in a special gallery that only the host and the guests can see. Moreover, there is the possibility to comment on the photos.

There are other apps that serve a similar purpose. While many of these apps allow guests to upload photos from any device, Hipstamatic Party! is only available for iPhone users. But what makes this new app from Hipstamatic stand out is that it simulates the disposable camera experience in a digital setting. The host can add a specific filter to the photos, or no filter at all. All photos are viewable after the day of the event, creating a nostalgic feeling of waiting for the film development process.

Hipstamatic Party! app requires payment for larger groups

The app is free to download, but the event host must pay for larger groups. For groups larger than the five-person limit, packages for 15, 25 or 35 people are priced at ₺79.99, ₺199.99 and ₺399.99 respectively. Those who want to add more users have to pay ₺39.99 per person. Hipstamatic also offers a ₺3999.99 “Event” option that allows up to 99 people to participate, and a ₺7999.99 “Wedding” package that allows unlimited photos and users. The wedding package also allows for higher-resolution photos.

Hipstamatic Party! offers event organizers the opportunity to collect instant and candid photos of their guests in one place, while also bringing the nostalgic touch of an old-fashioned film camera to the digital world. This app aims to offer a new experience in the world of photography and event management.
