Logitech celebrates 10th anniversary of G502 with special metal version

Logitech is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its G502 gaming mouse with a limited-edition aluminum model. Called the “G502 X Plus AL Edition,” this special edition features the same functionality as the standard wireless G502 X mouse, but with an aluminum body and special laser-etched markings. Each mouse is engraved with a serial number ranging from 1 to 502.

The G502 has become a staple in Logitech’s gaming lineup in the 10 years since its release. The first model was released as a wired mouse, and today you can still buy it for around $50. In 2019, Logitech made the G502 X wireless and started using the “Lightspeed” adapter, and the original model became known as a budget-friendly option.

The G502 X Plus model, which is the base model for the limited-edition mouse, offers a 25K DPI sensor, more RGB lighting, and wireless charging with Logitech’s Powerplay mousepad. That mouse is currently on sale for $160.

Logitech is not selling this special version of the G502

However, Logitech is not offering the G502 X Plus AL Edition. The company said that this special aluminum mouse will only be given away, won, or given away as a prize by Logitech G or its partners to members of the community. Logitech G has given away 10 mice so far via its X (formerly Twitter) account. If you want to win this mouse, it may be worth following the brand’s social media accounts.
