Google Slides improves user experience with new professional presentation templates

Google enriches the user experience by offering new professionally designed templates for its presentation tool Google Slides. These new templates provide a wide range of uses, from sales presentations to product roadmaps, from lesson plans to book reports. In addition, “team games” templates that aim to increase collaboration within the team are also included in this collection.

The new templates aim to ease the onboarding process for users switching from Microsoft PowerPoint to Google Slides. Along with Google’s recent updates to its other applications such as Google Sheets and Google Docs, these templates aim to make users’ workflow more efficient.

Google is gradually rolling out the new templates to all accounts, from personal Gmail accounts to paid Workspace users. The distribution process is planned to be completed by the end of November. However, these templates will only be available for accounts whose language settings are “English (United States).” Users with “English (United Kingdom)” or “English (Australia)” language settings will not be able to access these new templates.

When users access new templates, they will be able to access them by using the “Insert > Templates” option in the top toolbar or drop-down menu in the Google Slides application. Selected templates can be added as a single slide or used to create a consistent visual theme throughout the entire presentation.

Google Slides targets a wide audience with new templates

Google Slides’ renewed template library aims to appeal to a wide range of users, from education to the business world. These templates, which can ease the workload in areas such as product roadmaps or sales presentations, especially in business development processes, provide an advantage for users who attach importance to visuality. Users in the education sector will be able to prepare more effective presentations to students or colleagues with templates such as lesson plans and book reports.

With the increasing competition in digital tools recently, large technology companies such as Google are focusing on producing innovative solutions to meet user needs. Such professional features, which Google has recently integrated into its products, make tools such as Slides more preferred by individual users and corporate teams.
