Galaxy A58’s camera claim indicates it will retain the 5 MP macro camera

New camera information about Samsung’s Galaxy A58 model reveals the first details for the models that will follow the Galaxy A57 and A37. According to GalaxyClub’s news dated October 14, Galaxy A58 50 MP main camera12 MP ultra wide-angle camera and 5 MP macro camera will bring it together. However, Samsung does not officially announce this hardware or phone yet.

The news also suggests that there will be a 12 MP camera on the front. In addition, he states that the 5 MP macro camera will continue the resolution that Samsung used with the Galaxy A51 in 2020. Therefore, the leak does not indicate that the macro camera will be replaced by a zoom-focused telephoto camera.

GalaxyClub expects March or April 2027 for launch. However, this date does not constitute a calendar announced by Samsung. In addition, the evaluation of the news regarding the European price remains at the level of prediction. Samsung does not announce the price or start of sales in Türkiye for the Galaxy A58.

On the other hand, the publication also shares 50 MP main, 5 MP macro and 12 MP front camera information in a separate Galaxy A38 news dated October 15. The same text gives 12 MP for the ultra-wide-angle camera. This detail differs from the official 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera of the current Galaxy A37. For this reason, all camera features of the two generations should not be considered the same.

Samsung emphasizes the contribution of the image processor in current models

The official side of the comparison is Samsung’s Galaxy A57 and A37 announcement. The company uses a 50 MP main, 12 MP ultra wide angle and 5 MP macro camera on the Galaxy A57. Galaxy A37, on the other hand, adds an 8 MP ultra wide angle and 5 MP macro camera to the 50 MP main camera. The front camera in both models offers 12 MP resolution.

In addition, Samsung does not explain the development in existing models only by the number of pixels. The brand states that the updated image signal processor contributes to clearer images in low light. Galaxy A57’s improved low noise mode also forms part of photo and video processing. Therefore, the fact that the new model has the same resolution does not alone prove that Samsung will use the same sensor or the same image processing system.

There is no official technical table regarding the processor, battery and camera sensors of the Galaxy A38 and A58 yet. Current information is based on GalaxyClub’s own news. Samsung’s presentation will show which details of these claims it will maintain.
