NVIDIA has opened new settings for DLSS 4.5 on the cloud gaming side. The company’s Oct. 15 GeForce NOW announcement leaves upscaling, frame generation and beam reconstruction options in player control in compatible games. However, the highest option 4X dynamic multi-frame generationRequires RTX 5080 server with Ultimate membership.
The new section is located in the settings of the GeForce NOW application. NVIDIA’s support document explains that the options can be accessed from the details button in the Gameplay and Streaming quality section. This way you can change the model settings used by compatible DLSS functions in-game.
On the other hand, the scope of features is determined by your membership and the server you connect to. Ultimate and Performance members can use Super Resolution and Beam Reconstruction in supported games. The free membership only supports Super Resolution. Ultimate users on RTX 4080 servers also do not get the 4X option of dynamic multi-frame generation.
Besides, NVIDIA does not support the fixed multiplier override option in frame generation. GeForce NOW uses dynamic multi-frame generation only. The company does not offer 5X and 6X options in this service. Compatibility varies depending on the game and the DLSS function you choose.
NVIDIA also announces the games of the week with new settings
