OnePlus accelerated work on the Ace 5 series after launching the Ace 3 Pro in June. In the latest news, the well-known leak source Digital Chat Station shared some important technical features of the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro model.
According to the leak, the phone will have a BOE X2 flat AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution. The choice of flat screen indicates that the design of the device will be flat, similar to Oppo’s upcoming flagships. However, no information has yet been given about the exact size of the screen.
Although the source did not directly specify the name of the device, it is thought that this model will be OnePlus Ace 5 Pro, using the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor coded SM8750 and other features. The Ace 3 Pro model was released with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processors, and the Ace 3 was released with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processors. In this regard, Ace 5 Pro is expected to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor.
It is also claimed that Ace 5 Pro will follow a new trend and come with a large-capacity silicon-carbon anode battery. It is stated that the capacity of this battery will have a value starting with 6, which indicates that it will exceed the 5500 mAh capacity in Ace 3 Pro. The same source previously stated that the device will have a battery between 6300 mAh and 6500 mAh and 100W fast charging support.
OnePlus Ace 5 Pro will come with a 50-megapixel main camera
Regarding cameras, it is stated that the phone will use 50MP IMX906 as its main sensor, and ISOCELL JN1 will be preferred as the telephoto camera. This sensor will be supported by the image processing algorithm in Oppo’s Find X8 series. The IMX 906 sensor will be 1/1.56” in size and offer 50MP resolution, while the telephoto sensor will be 50MP in resolution and 1/2.76” in size. However, no information was given about the zoom capacity of the telephoto camera.
The OnePlus Ace 5 (may be referred to as OnePlus 13R in the global market) model had previously come to the fore with thermal imaging results during the Genshin Impact gaming test. This meant validating an in-development prototype model of the device. Both devices are expected to launch with ColorOS 15 based on Android 15. This new operating system attracts attention with visual improvements and various artificial intelligence features.
