Samsung is preparing to completely replace the Settings application with artificial intelligence

Samsung is preparing to completely replace the Settings application on its smartphones with artificial intelligence (AI). According to South Korean news source ETNews, this new system that Samsung is working on will replace the Settings application, especially on Galaxy devices (at least smartphones).

This new AI-supported system will predict users’ needs by instantly analyzing users’ interactions with the device. Thus, it will help users make quick changes without entering the Settings app. Although this technology may seem futuristic at first, many smartphone manufacturers have actually begun to take steps in this direction in recent years. For example, camera apps can now instantly recognize when you’re scanning a document or taking a photo of a landscape and automatically change the image processing accordingly.

Such artificial intelligence applications have already been incorporated into various applications and user interfaces. Work continues on deeper integration of artificial intelligence in Samsung’s One UI interface. This new development of the company based on artificial intelligence is in line with its strategy to further improve the user experience.

Although there have been artificial intelligence-supported voice assistants that have been included with smartphones for many years, the functions of these assistants are still limited. These assistants, which can usually perform simple tasks such as setting an alarm, are lacking in managing the main control mechanisms of the device. Could this latest development from Samsung bring about an artificial intelligence system that can perform more complex tasks on its own? Time will tell.

Samsung offers many artificial intelligence-supported features in its Galaxy series

There are many artificial intelligence-supported features that Samsung currently offers in its Galaxy series. These include tools that make photo editing easier, improve communication with people speaking different languages, and speed up many other processes. In addition, the “ProVisual Engine” developed by the company helps the camera hardware to provide clearer and stable photos even in low light conditions. On the other hand, the artificial intelligence-supported Note Assist feature has made taking notes and accessing information easier than ever.

Although all these artificial intelligence-based features save users time, they are currently limited to certain applications and user interface areas. However, Samsung’s work in this field can create a big leap in the overall user experience by increasing the accessibility of artificial intelligence. Samsung’s future AI integration has the potential to radically change the way users interact with their devices.
