Apple’s new AirPods Pro model may come with heart rate and body temperature measurement features

Apple continues to work to equip the new generation AirPods Pro model with health-oriented features. According to the information provided by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman in the Power On newsletter, the technology giant is testing the heart rate and body temperature measurement features in its headphones. Although it is stated that Apple Watch is currently more successful in such measurements, it is stated that the results of AirPods are not far behind.

According to Gurman, Apple plans to integrate body temperature measurement sensors into new AirPods Pro models. It is thought that these sensors will allow users to instantly monitor their health status. Heart rate measurement stands out as a useful feature, especially for users who want to monitor sports and health data. These technologies are expected to complement the existing capabilities of Apple Watch.

It is also reported that Apple is reconsidering the idea of adding a camera to AirPods models. Gurman states that this feature is considered as part of Apple’s strategy to strengthen artificial intelligence services. However, it is emphasized that it may take a few years for AirPods models with cameras to be released.

On the other hand, it is stated that health-oriented features such as heart rate measurement may be offered in the next AirPods Pro model in the near future. Gurman stated that these features are currently in early development.

Apple focuses on health-oriented innovations in its products other than AirPods Pro.

Apple has been focusing on health-oriented innovations in wearable technologies in recent years. The company’s Apple Watch models can measure data such as heart rate, ECG and blood oxygen level. Equipping AirPods Pro with such health features supports Apple’s goal of offering a more comprehensive health ecosystem to its users.

It is not yet clear what innovations in health technologies the new generation AirPods Pro will bring. However, such features can expand the usage areas of wearable devices and reinforce Apple’s leadership in this field. Whether the company will implement these plans will become clear in the coming months.
