Asus announced the first mini PC model that uses Intel’s new Core Ultra 9 processor and supports Microsoft’s artificial intelligence-supported Copilot Plus features: Asus NUC 14 Pro AI. While the device, which was first introduced at IFA 2024 in September, attracted attention with its compact structure, this time Asus shared more details about the technical features. However, no information about the launch date or price of the device has been disclosed yet.
NUC 14 Pro AI will come with five different processor configurations. These options include models starting with the Core Ultra 5 226V processor and 16 GB integrated RAM and offering the highest level Core Ultra 9 288V processor and 32 GB RAM. Asus states that the device reaches 67 TOPS GPU performance and 48 NPU TOPS values with its graphics processor. In addition, NVMe SSD support between 256 GB and 2 TB is provided with the M.2 2280 PCIe Gen 4 x 4 slot.
The compact dimensions of the device are also noteworthy. Measuring only 130 mm in width and depth and 34 mm in height, the mini PC has a thinner design than its rival, the Mac Mini. For comparison, the Mac Mini’s height is 50mm.
Asus NUC 14 Pro AI is equipped with a functional design. While there is a fingerprint sensor on the top of the device, there is a Copilot key used for Microsoft’s artificial intelligence assistant on the front. There are also two USB-A ports, a Thunderbolt 4 port, a headphone jack and a power button on the front.
Asus NUC 14 Pro AI comes with Wi-Fi 7 support
More connection options are offered on the back. 2.5Gbps Ethernet input, another Thunderbolt 4 port, two USB-A ports and an HDMI port are among the ports of the device. For wireless connection, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 support is provided.
Asus has not yet announced when the NUC 14 Pro AI will be available or what its price will be. However, with its powerful processor and artificial intelligence-supported features, it is predicted that the device will be a remarkable option especially for professional users and technology enthusiasts who need a compact computer.
