Apple Watch Series 10 will introduce users with a larger screen and advanced health features

The Apple Watch Series 10 will come with a larger screen compared to its predecessors. In the latest issue of Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman’s Power On newsletter, it is stated that the Series 10 will have a larger screen compared to other standard models of the Apple Watch. This means that in one of the options, the screen size will approach the Apple Watch Ultra. Gurman had previously stated that the Apple Watch Series 10 will be a thinner watch.

Apple is also working on more advanced health features for its smartwatches, though it appears some of these may not be ready in time for the next version. This includes tools that can measure high blood pressure and detect sleep apnea, it said.

According to Gurman, Apple has faced some serious hurdles in developing the technology for these features. Sleep apnea tracking would rely on blood oxygen saturation measurements, a feature Apple is currently unable to offer due to a patent dispute.

Other models will be introduced along with Apple Watch Series 10

It is said that a new version of the Apple Watch SE could be introduced this year. Gurman also stated that a plastic case could be preferred instead of aluminum. It is expected that both the Apple Watch Series 10 and the next-generation Apple Watch Ultra will have increased performance with new chips.
