Apple Intelligence to be available in October with iOS 18.1

Apple’s new artificial intelligence technology, Apple Intelligence, will meet users in October with the iOS 18.1 and iPadOS 18.1 updates. According to Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, the betas of these updates, along with some artificial intelligence features, will be offered to developers this week.

It is stated that not all features of Apple Intelligence will be available at launch. It will also not be available in Turkey because it will support US English. Some features, especially the AI-supported Siri, are expected to be available later in the year. It is stated that some of these updates may be delayed until 2025. According to Apple’s statement, these new AI updates will work on devices with A17 Pro processors or M-series chips. This only covers the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max from the current iPhone models. Therefore, older model devices will not be able to benefit from this new technology.

Apple Intelligence aims to provide users with a smarter and faster experience. The betas to be released for developers will provide an opportunity to test the innovations that the new technology will bring in advance. In this way, developers will be able to adapt their applications to Apple’s new artificial intelligence capabilities.

How Apple Intelligence will transform the user experience is a matter of curiosity. The update aims to provide users with a more personal and integrated digital assistant experience. The AI-powered version of Siri will be equipped with more natural language processing capabilities and will provide faster and more accurate responses to users’ requests. However, it is stated that not all of these features will be available at the beginning and will be rolled out gradually.

Apple’s new AI update will only be compatible with certain devices. Devices with the A17 Pro or M-series chip will be able to take advantage of the full capabilities of Apple Intelligence, meaning users of older models won’t be able to take full advantage of this new technology. Apple may be planning to expand the list of compatible devices in future updates, but for now, only the latest models will support these features.
