Huawei has accelerated its preparations for its first tri-fold smartphone, the Mate XT, which will be introduced on September 10. A new video shared as part of the device’s promotional campaign gives clues about the Mate XT’s design.
The video stars famous actor, singer, and producer Andy Lau. Lau was introduced as the new face of Huawei’s Ultimate Design brand. The most striking detail about the Mate XT’s design is the octagonal camera island on the back of the device. This design is very similar to Huawei’s Mate 60 RS Ultimate. The use of vegan leather on the back of the device offers a premium touch.
In the promotional video, there are four cameras in the close-up shots of the Mate XT’s rear. Among these cameras is a periscope module, but no clear information about the sensors has been given yet.
The device is shown fully opened in the later parts of the video, and it is noticeable that it has a very thin profile.
How much will you have to pay for the Huawei Mate XT?
