Tecno’s new foldable phones, the Tecno Phantom V Fold 2 and Phantom V Flip 2, have been the subject of various rumors for a while now. Today, a new leak from SpillSomeBeans has revealed the first real-life photos of the devices.
First, there are some notable changes to the Phantom V Flip 2. Instead of the circular panel on the previous model, this new phone has a significantly larger cover display. While it’s hard to judge the bezels on the outer display when it’s closed, the inner display appears to have symmetrical bezels. There’s also a punch-hole at the top of the display for the selfie camera.
A sticker on the back of the phone confirms some key specifications. The device will come with dual-SIM support, 256GB internal storage, and model number AE11. This model was previously listed on Geekbench with Dimensity 8050 processor.
The Phantom V Fold 2, on the other hand, appears with the model number AE10 and has been listed on Geekbench with the Dimensity 9000+ processor. There are punch-hole cutouts for the selfie cameras on both the cover and the inner display of the V Fold 2. On the back of the device, there is a triple-lens camera array. The engraving on this module confirms that the main rear camera is a 50MP lens.
Tecno Phantom V Fold 2 and V Flip 2 may go official very soon
