Pixel 9 Pro Fold will have both foldable display and internal display

Google will introduce the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold models at an event on August 13. Information about the first three models was recently leaked online. The latest leak also reveals important details about the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.

The new leak is said to come directly from Google. This leak shows that the Pixel 9 Pro Fold’s screen sizes and aspect ratios are also different from its predecessors. While the foldable screen has a more square appearance, it is stated that the cover screen is also elongated and narrowed.

The foldable screen on the Pixel 9 Pro Fold is 8 inches, with a resolution of 2152 x 2076 pixels. The refresh rate of the screen is 120 Hz, and the maximum HDR brightness level of the screen is 1600 nits. The 6.24-inch external screen has a resolution of 2424 x 1080 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a maximum HDR brightness of 1800 nits.

Pixel 9 Pro Fold to come with Tensor G4

This makes both of the Pixel 9 Pro Fold’s displays larger and brighter than those on the original Pixel Fold. While the aspect ratio has changed, the inner display is still slightly wider than it is tall, meaning apps will automatically enter landscape mode when you open this device, just like its predecessor.

Just like the other Pixel 9 models, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold is expected to feature a Tensor G4 processor at its heart.
