UGREEN ClipBuds Pro 2 announced with open ear design

UGREEN launched the ClipBuds Pro 2 model, which clings to the ear cup without entering the ear. The product, which follows the brand’s previous wireless headphone solutions, is listed on UGREEN’s official page with a recommended price of $99.99. Türkiye sales date and local price have not been announced yet.

Each headset weighs 6 grams. The model, which uses an 11 mm dual-magnet titanium composite driver, carries LDAC support for high-resolution audio. The spatial audio feature can also be used through the application.

Bluetooth 6.1 connection supports connecting to two devices simultaneously. Four microphones and two voice detection units work together to reduce wind and environmental noise during phone calls. Due to the open design, the system should not be expected to offer the same insulation as classical active noise canceling.

Battery life is up to 10 hours per headset and 46 hours with the charging case. One of the details that stands out in daily use is that a ten-minute charge provides approximately three hours of listening. IP56 rating provides protection against sweat and splashes.

Open structure aims to maintain connection with the environment

The clip format appeals to those who want to continue hearing surrounding sounds while walking or in the office. In addition, it does not create pressure on the ear canal, which can provide comfort during long listening sessions. Bass performance and sound leakage may vary depending on the environment used in open ear models.

UGREEN states that it has prepared the product with a flexible body that adapts to different ear structures. However, it is important to try physical fit before making a purchasing decision; Comfort in clip-on models may vary more from person to person compared to classic silicone tip headphones.

ClipBuds Pro 2 ranks above the affordable open-ear models in terms of technical features.

Its equivalent in Türkiye can be evaluated more clearly when the distribution date, exchange rate and guarantee conditions are announced.
