LG is expanding its portable display series with the 32-inch StanbyME 2 Max model. The new member of the series, which extends to the Türkiye sales of StanbyME 2, uses a 4K resolution touch panel, wheeled stand and internal battery, according to the features announced by LG. Türkiye price and sales date have not been shared yet.
The screen offers a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels. The Alpha 8 AI Processor Gen3 image processor works to adapt the contents to the resolution of the panel. Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HLG support also provides high dynamic range options in different sources.
Thanks to the webOS 26 operating system, online video services can be accessed without connecting an external player. The touch-sensitive structure can be used in presentation, recipe display or in-home control scenarios. In addition, the screen can be rotated horizontally and vertically.
The usage time of the internal battery is given up to 4.5 hours. Actual time will vary depending on brightness, volume and connection type. Power transfer and fast charging support via USB-C strengthens the idea of using the screen independently of a fixed outlet.
The new model increases screen size and resolution together
Rather than replacing the traditional television, StanbyME 2 Max is positioned as a second screen that can be moved between rooms. Speakers with 10 W power may be sufficient for casual viewing; Those who want stronger sound will be able to connect wireless speakers.
The 32 inch size also raises the portability limit. Although the wheeled stand facilitates movement within the home, the suitability of the product for stairs or outdoor use will depend on weight and durability values.
Since LG has not disclosed price information, it is not possible to evaluate the value of the model in advance. The main advantage of StanbyME 2 Max will be that it combines the 4K panel, touch control and battery in a single body.
