Xiaomi has announced the launch date of its first foldable phone, called the Mix Flip, which has a clamshell format. The Mix Flip will be revealed on July 19, alongside the Mix Fold 4 and the Redmi K70 Ultra.
Xiaomi’s Mix Flip announcement was not limited to this. The company’s Weibo account also shared information about some of the foldable phone’s features. In these posts, the phone’s processor and battery capacity were announced, and its design was also showcased.
At the heart of the Mix Flip will be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, as in the Xiaomi 14 series flagships. Although it was stated that one of the rear cameras developed together with Leica has a large aperture width, not many details were shared.
Xiaomi Mix Flip will come with a 4780 mAh battery
The foldable phone will get the energy it needs from a 4780 mAh battery. It is worth noting that this battery capacity is the same as the Honor Magic V Flip.
Another post from Xiaomi states that the phone will come with UFS 4.0 storage, LPDDR5X RAM, and a 3D vapor cooling ring. The Mix Flip’s 4-inch cover screen will offer 1240p resolution and a maximum brightness level of 1600 nits.
