Xiaomi has now announced the Redmi 14R model, in addition to the Redmi 14C model that was introduced last month. The Redmi 14R comes with a 6.88-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This display offers a maximum brightness of 600 nits and stands out with its wet touch support.
At the heart of the Redmi 14R is the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor. This processor is supported by up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The device also supports expandable microSD cards up to 1TB. The phone, which comes out of the box with Android 14-based HyperOS, promises its users a fast and up-to-date experience in terms of performance and software.
On the photography side, the Redmi 14R is equipped with a 13MP main camera on the back. The specifications of the other sensor accompanying this camera have not yet been announced. On the front, there is a 5MP camera for selfies and video calls. The 5,160 mAh battery, which meets the energy needs of the device, provides long-term use and fast charging with 18W fast charging support.
Other highlights of the Redmi 14R include a dedicated microSD card slot, side-mounted fingerprint reader, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. These hardware features aim to offer users both performance and ease of use.
How much should I pay for the Xiaomi Redmi 14R?
The Redmi 14R will be available in four different color and memory options. Pricing options are as follows:
- 4GB RAM + 128GB storage: CNY 1099 (TL 5263)
- 6GB RAM + 128GB storage: CNY 1,499 (TL 7,179)
- 8GB RAM + 128GB storage: CNY 1699 (TL 8136)
- 8GB RAM + 256GB storage: 1899 CNY (9094 TL)
The Redmi 14R is currently available for sale in China via Xiaomi’s official website, but its availability in other markets is not yet clear.
