Xiaomi 15 Ultra’s promotional date and features become clear

Xiaomi announced the official launch date for the flagship model Xiaomi 15 Ultra, whose leaks have increased for a while. The promotion in China is expected to take place at the end of February, while the global launch will be held on 2 March. This date corresponds to the day before the start of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025. Since Xiaomi’s major activities are usually regulated before MWC, the launch seems likely to take place in Barcelona. All these developments show that there are days left to launch the device.

In terms of design, Xiaomi 15 ultra offers remarkable innovations. Looking at the leaked images, the rear panel of the device has a double -tone color layout that resembles Leica cameras. The large and circular camera module is an indication of the importance given to the photography capabilities of the device. In addition, it is stated that certain ergonomic design details are included in order to improve the holder of hand. As in Xiaomi’s previous models, 15 ultra maintains the quality of premium material.

It will attract attention with camera and screen features

On the camera side, Xiaomi 15 Ultra looks quite ambitious. The device is known to contain a camera system of four different lenses. The main camera has a 50 MP resolution and a large 1 -inch sensor, and in addition, it has a 50 MP ultra wide -angle lens and 50 MP short -distance telephoto lens. One of the most remarkable features is the presence of a 200 MP resolution periscope telephoto lens. It is claimed that this lens will be the same as the sensor used in the Vivo X100 Ultra and the X200 Pro. It is said that camera performance will not only be limited to hardware and improvements will be made with advanced software support.

There are also significant upgrades on the screen. The Xiaomi 15 ultra, which is specified in a 6.73 -inch LTPO AMOLED panel, will offer 2K resolution. The screen, which has a 120 Hz renewal rate, is expected to provide a high visual experience with its fluency and color accuracy. At the same time, it is shared that it will have an advanced ultrasonic fingerprint reader placed under the screen. This innovation is considered as an important plus in terms of security.

Qualcomm’s newest processor Snapdragon 8 Elite will take the performance of Xiaomi 15 Ultra. This chipset draws attention with its high -speed data processing ability and energy efficiency. Although there is no clear information on the RAM and storage side, it is estimated that there will be at least 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage space. On the software side, it is known that the device will work with Hyperos 2.0, the new interface of the Android 15 -based Xiaomi as soon as it comes out of the box. Hyperos 2.0 aims to provide a more stable experience than previous versions with optimizations that improve system performance and renewed interface design.

Battery capacity and charging technologies also meet today’s standards. Xiaomi 15 Ultra will have a large battery with a capacity of 6,000 mAh. This capacity is expected to offer a long time time, despite the strong hardware of the device. On the charging side is 90W of wired and 50W wireless fast charging support. In this way, the phone can be fully charged in a short time and will not have any charging problems in daily use.

Xiaomi has not yet made an official statement about pricing. However, it is suggested that the previous model will be in a price range similar to the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. Considering the competition in the global market, the brand is thought to make a strategic decision on price. However, it is also among the information that the device can be offered for sale with different hardware configurations in certain regions.

Xiaomi 15 Ultra is preparing to be an ambitious option in the upper class smartphone segment with its powerful technical features and advanced camera capabilities. As the launch date approaches, we expect more details about the device to emerge.
