Xiaomi’s highly anticipated new flagship model Xiaomi 15 Ultra’s promotional date and features appeared. A poster shared on the company’s Weibo platform shows that the device will be introduced in China at 19:00 on February 26, 2025. For the global market, Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be exhibited within the scope of the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2025) to be held in Barcelona. The MWC event will be held between 3-6 March.
Shortly before the introduction of Xiaomi 15 Ultra, a first view of the device was leaked. This video reveals the back design of the smartphone. The images show that Xiaomi 15 Ultra comes with a redesigned camera module compared to the last year’s model Xiaomi 14. Leica brand attracts attention on the device, which has a quadruple camera installation, and the pill -shaped LED flash has been added to the design.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra attracts attention with its advanced camera technologies. The main camera of the device will be 1-inch and 50 megapixel resolution LYT-900 sensor. This camera, which offers optical image stabilization (OIS) support, will provide clearer images under low light conditions. The three different sensors that complement the main camera are quite ambitious:
- The 50 MP Samsung JN5 Ultra wide -angle lens: optimized for wider shooting angles.
- 50 MP Sony IMX858 Telephoto Camera: 3x Optical Zoom and Macro shooting capabilities.
- 200 MP Samsung HP9 Periscope Telephoto Camera: 4,3x offers optical zoom.
On the front, there is an Omnivision OV32B sensor with 32 Megapixel resolution for high quality selfie shootings and video calls.
The screen of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be 6.8 -inch AMOLED LTPO panel. This screen, which offers a 2K resolution, will provide a fluent experience with a 120Hz renewal speed. Xiaomi will also include an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor on the device.
On the performance side, Xiaomi 15 Ultra will come with Qualcomm’s newest Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The device will run the Android 15 operating system with the Hyperos 2.0 interface. On the storage side, the Chinese market will be available in the 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage up to 1 TB. In the global market, a single model with 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage capacity is expected to be released.
Xiaomi will come with 15 ultra, 6000 mAh battery
The battery capacity will be 6000 mAh and the device will offer quick charge with 90W wired and 50W wireless charging support. In this way, Xiaomi 15 Ultra will provide users with long battery life and charging in a short time.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be released with three different color options, black, white and silver. Xiaomi’s previous flagship model Xiaomi 14 Ultra was offered only in black and white colors. These new options will enable users to have more personalization.
