With GPT-Image-1, the visual production process was moved to third-party applications

OpenAI has attracted attention with its visual production capability in Chatgpt. According to the company’s announcement, the model is offered to developers via OpenAI’s Images API. This development enables the spread of artificial intelligence -based visual production to a wider ecosystem without being within the borders of OpenAI. In this way, users can benefit from the same advanced model on different platforms.

The main feature of the GPT-Image-1 is that it can correctly reflect different styles when creating visuals based on user commands. In addition, using the knowledge of the real world by using meaningful and connection -appropriate results attracts attention. This versatile structure of the model makes it a useful tool in many areas such as design, advertising, education and media. The ability to place texts correctly into the image provides a special advantage for content producers.

Adobe has started to offer GPT-Image-1 to its users through Firefly and Express applications. While different aesthetic styles can be experienced in these applications, content producers can create customized visuals according to their needs. Adobe’s step aims to support the diversity of visual production and experimental design processes. In this way, new production opportunities are provided to professionals working in the field of marketing and social media.

Figma made visual production possible directly through the design interface with GPT-Image-1

The Figma integrated the GPT-Image-1 directly into the Figma Design platform. With this integration, users can now produce visuals with simple commands, edit existing images and expand the design area. In particular, the facilitating background, deletion of objects or relocation enables designers to gain serious time in prototyping processes. All these features have significantly expanded Figma’s visual production capabilities.

However, OpenAI is not only limited to Adobe and Figma. Canva, Godaddy and Instacart platforms are also cooperated. The company aims to expand the use of the model in various sectors through these collaborations. All these steps show us that the GPT-Image-1 can be integrated into different services with an API-based infrastructure.

OpenAI says the GPT-Image-1 is only available in the first stage with Images API. However, it was recently announced that the support will come through Responses API. In this way, it will be possible to realize both text and visual production in the same API. For developers, this means a much more flexible and comprehensive production environment.

Visual production processes are no longer an area where only technical users can access. Together with GPT-Image-1, visual production has decreased to a level that everyone can use through simple commands. This accessibility offers an important advantage especially for small businesses, content producers and designers. In addition, the acceleration of the production process directly affects time management.

In spite of everything, the spread of artificial intelligence in visual production brings some ethical debates. Particularly in areas such as copyright, false visual production and content manipulation need to be careful. OpenAI aims to reduce possible risks by introducing user instructions and limitations.
