The release of OnePlus' new foldable phone may be delayed until 2025

OnePlus' first foldable phone, OnePlus Open, was introduced last October. We will have to wait a little longer for the follower of this phone. According to Digital Chat Station's post, OnePlus Open 2 will become official in the first quarter of next year.

Pointing to the first quarter of 2025 for release brings up another possibility regarding the phone's processor. If Open 2 is delayed to 2025, the possibility of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor at the heart of the phone instead of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 increases.

In the same post, it is also said that Open 2 will have a renewed hinge mechanism. Thinner case and fewer screen wrinkles are also some of the claims about Open 2. A higher resolution cover screen and periscope camera are also among the improvements to be made with Open 2.

OnePlus Open 2 may also resemble Oppo's foldable phone

OnePlus Open was a slightly modified version of the Oppo Find N3. Therefore, it seems likely that OnePlus Open 2 will be a different version of Oppo Find N4 or N5.
