The official introductory date of Samsung’s Android XR title appeared

The countdown has begun for the mixed reality title that Samsung has held for a long time. This new generation title, which is carried out by the company under the code name “Project Moohan ,, will be officially introduced on 29 September. This date is clearly stated in South Korean news. To date, Samsung has only shown the product with limited and short presentations. It is estimated that the fully comprehensive publicity will take place this time.

The sales date of the mixed reality title has also emerged. Approximately two weeks after the introduction, the device will first meet users in South Korea on October 13th. Samsung will make the distribution of this product gradually, that is to say that it will be necessary to wait a little longer for the arrival of other countries. It is thought that user feedback will be taken into consideration during the transition to the global market.

Samsung will present the title with Google with Android XR.

This title will be the first hardware to use the Android XR operating system developed with Google. Android XR offers a specially optimized software infrastructure for virtual and augmented reality technologies. This system is considered to be a step following the cooperation of Wear OS, which was previously developed jointly with Google. The experience -oriented and flexible structure of the software will directly reflect on the user interface of the device.

Samsung’s title comes not only on the software side but also with strong components in terms of hardware. The Qualcomm XR2+ Gen 2 chipset on the device provides significant advantages in terms of performance and energy efficiency. It is stated that this processor was produced with a production process of 4 nanometers and that this process took place in Samsung’s facilities. This increases the control of the company on the product, as well as flexibility in the production chain.

The low -delay time offered by the chipset set is expected to increase the experience level of the device thanks to high -resolution image processing and advanced sensor support. In addition, Google’s Gemini Artificial Intelligence Model will also include the Android XR platform. Thanks to this AI system, the title will be able to analyze the user’s behavior and offer smarter feedback. Gemini is expected to be effective especially on content suggestions and natural language understanding.

Samsung’s XR title will once again appear before the official launch. The company will re -show this title at its UNPACKED event in July. Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7 models will also be introduced at this event. The XR title will also be moved to the stage with a preliminary screening during this launch.

Although Samsung has been limited to this device, the cooperation on the hardware and software side is a remarkable structure. In the XR area, Samsung’s new step offers an important option in the competitive environment with Apple’s Vision Pro model. Moreover, the Android XR platform, which is developed by Google, promises a more flexible experience, contrary to Apple’s closed ecosystem approach. This means new opportunities for developers and content producers.

After sales in South Korea, it is not yet finalized when it will be opened to European and US markets. However, the experiences of the first users may be decisive for Samsung’s improvements in subsequent stages. Although the device will be produced in a limited number in the first place, it is expected to reach a wider audience in the long run. Pricing and technical details will probably be clarified at the UNPACKED event.
