OnePlus 13 has been on the agenda with leaked news and rumors for months. Finally, the first official details about the device have emerged. OnePlus China President Louis Lee shared the first image of OnePlus 13 on Weibo. The image shows only the front of the device, or rather the display panel with a small hole in the middle. The bezels look thin, but it’s hard to make a clear comment since the device is not fully assembled.
However, the most striking point is that it is certain that OnePlus 13 will have the second generation “Oriental Screen” technology developed by BOE. The previous model, OnePlus 12, came with the first generation Oriental screen with 4,500 nits brightness, 3168x1440p resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and 510 PPI pixel density. Louis Lee claims that the performance of this new display will be “far ahead of the rest.” However, no clear information has been shared yet regarding the technical details of these claims.
Although there is no definitive information about what kind of innovations this screen will bring, OnePlus 12 is expected to build on its impressive screen performance.
According to the latest leaks, the rear design of OnePlus 13 has also been revealed. The rear camera of the device appears to have a distinct camera area, unlike the edge-integrated design of the previous model, OnePlus 12.
What features will OnePlus 13 come with?
OnePlus 13 will be powered by Qualcomm’s yet-to-be-released Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor and will come with 24 GB LPDDR5X RAM. Additionally, according to the 3C certification, the device will have 100W wired charging support. It is also rumored that the device will offer a 6000 mAh battery and 50W wireless charging support.
Looking at the camera features, the front camera of OnePlus 13 will be 32 megapixels. On the back, there will be a triple camera system with a resolution of 50 megapixels: 50 megapixel main camera (LYT-808, OIS supported), 50 megapixel ultra wide angle camera (LYT-600) and 50 megapixel 3x periscope telephoto camera (LYT-600).
In addition, it is stated that OnePlus 13 will have IP69 certification and will come with features such as slide warning switch, metal frame and 0916 Turbo vibration engine.
