According to the Official Gazette announcement dated October 25, 2023, higher education students in Turkey will be able to benefit from tax refunds on phone, computer and tablet purchases up to 9,500 TL. Tax-Free Student Discount Campaign: Who Can Benefit?
Only citizens of the Republic of Turkey and higher education students under the age of 26 can benefit from this campaign. To benefit from this discount, which is valid as of November 1 and lasts until December 31, 2023, the price of the devices purchased must be below 9,500 TL and students must follow the tax refund process themselves. The total support amount is determined as 5,500 TL.
Students will be able to apply for a tax refund within the specified conditions along with the invoice when they make a purchase. The refund process is designed to be reimbursed by government agencies during this period.
