Snapchat users will soon be able to edit the messages they send

Snapchat introduces a number of innovations to its users, including the editing feature that makes it possible to eliminate errors in messages. Emoji and map reactions, artificial intelligence-supported reminders are also among the innovations that Snapchat will offer.

The availability period of the message editing feature is quite short. Messages can be edited within five minutes after being sent and if the recipient does not open the message. According to the information provided by Snap, Snapchat Plus subscribers will be the first to benefit from this feature.

The feature of editing the message after sending is rapidly becoming widespread in messaging applications. These features have been available on Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp under the roof of Meta since last year. Apple also added this feature to iOS 16. Google is also expected to join this group.

Snapchat also adds new capabilities to its My AI chatbot

The OpenAI-supported My AI chatbot, which Snapchat introduced last year, is also becoming a little more capable. Users can now ask My AI to remind them of important deadlines. My AI will also set a countdown for this. Additionally, Snap will make it possible to create custom outfits for Bitmojis with artificial intelligence, and AI Lenses will pave the way for users to create a “90s” version of themselves with just a selfie.

On Snapchat, users will now be able to react to messages with emojis. In addition, users who share their location on the map will also be able to send reactions with emojis. New Snapchat features other than message editing are now available.
