Another new detail about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 series has been confirmed. A news report by Android Authority reveals that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra model will have uninterrupted update support. The report clarified the existence of this feature by examining leaked files about the device. The same feature is expected to be valid for the other models of the series, Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+.
The seamless update feature, introduced by Google in 2016, allows you to update the device software more smoothly. Users can continue to use their phones during the update. While the update process is installed in compartment “B”, users can use their devices normally in compartment “A”. When the entire process is completed, the device reboots only once, during which the phone becomes unusable for a few minutes. However, this time is quite short compared to traditional update methods.
Samsung introduced this feature for the first time with the Galaxy A55 model in March 2023. The Galaxy S25 series will be the first example where this feature will be offered on a higher segment device.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will come with Snapdragon 8 Elite
The news not only confirms seamless update support but also states that the Galaxy S25 Ultra (model number SM-S938) will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. This processor was developed to meet users’ expectations in terms of performance and energy efficiency.
Although an official date has not yet been shared for the introduction of the Galaxy S25 series, January 22 stands out. With its uninterrupted update support and powerful processor, Galaxy S25 Ultra seems to have the potential to take the user experience to the next level.
