Samsung is preparing to introduce a new and ambitious member in the middle segment of the smartphone market. Aiming to offer high performance at an affordable price, Galaxy M55 comes with features that will challenge the luxury features of the Galaxy S series. M55, which we can consider as a modified version of the Galaxy A55, seems to surpass even the A55 model in some aspects, according to MSPowerUser.

Expected features of Samsung Galaxy M55

The Galaxy M55, which we expect soon, draws attention especially with its high-resolution selfie camera. According to MSPowerUser's report, the 6.7-inch Super AMOLED + screen will have Full HD + resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected to offer up to 1000 nits of brightness with High Brightness Mode (HBM). It will also host an under-screen fingerprint reader.

The camera hardware is completed with a 50MP main camera on the back, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with OIS support and a 2MP macro camera. However, the most striking feature is that it has the highest resolution 50MP selfie camera ever used in Samsung smartphones. It is also stated that it will have 4K video recording features with dual recording, night shooting mode and VDIS (electronic image stabilization for video).

On the hardware side, Galaxy M55 will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor and will offer up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. Storage space can be expanded thanks to the microSD card slot. The phone, which will come with the Android 14 (One UI 6.x) operating system, is expected to receive five Android OS updates.

Other features include Dolby Atmos support, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC and USB Type-C port. Galaxy M55, which will be released in Mint/Light Green and Dark Blue color options, promises to offer great value to users with its price.

This device represents another ambitious move by Samsung in the middle segment for technology enthusiasts. With its high-resolution cameras, powerful processor and long-lasting software support, Galaxy M55 aims to enrich the user experience. Upon its launch, we can expect this model to generate great interest among technology enthusiasts.
