Samsung Galaxy A56 will come with higher RAM capacity and faster charging support

Samsung’s Galaxy A series phones are known for offering a strong experience in the mid-upper segment with their stylish designs, robust hardware and reliable software. Finally, important technical specifications and price information about the Samsung Galaxy A56 model, which is expected to be introduced globally in the first quarter of 2025, have been leaked.

According to leaks, it is stated that the Galaxy A56 will include significant innovations in terms of hardware and design. This information was shared from a reliable source named @TheGalox_ on the X platform (formerly Twitter).

One of the most notable upgrades is the improvement in charging capacity. It is claimed that the Galaxy A56 will offer 45W fast charging support, unlike the Galaxy A55 with 25W fast charging support. This innovation will allow the device to charge its 5000 mAh battery faster. This information was also confirmed in China’s 3C certification.

On the screen side, it is said that the device will come with an FHD + 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED display. This will be a step forward from the Super AMOLED display of the Galaxy A55, offering a more fluid and immersive visual experience. In addition, the aluminum frame and glass back panel design is preserved, giving the device a more premium feel compared to its competitors.

Galaxy A56 will be powered by Samsung’s own developed Exynos 1580 chipset. This processor replaces the Exynos 1480 used in the Galaxy A55. The scores of 1,341 (single core) and 3,836 (multi-core) in Geekbench tests show that there will be a significant increase in performance. It is stated that the device will come with Android 15 out of the box and will be offered with two different storage options: 8 GB / 128 GB and 12 GB / 256 GB.

On the camera side, the rear cameras of the Galaxy A56 will offer a similar setup to its predecessor, the Galaxy A55. The triple camera array consisting of 50 MP main sensor, 12 MP ultra wide angle lens and 5 MP depth sensor is maintained. However, on the front camera side, it is stated that a 12 MP sensor will be used instead of the 32 MP sensor in the Galaxy A55. This change may be a disappointment, especially for selfie enthusiasts.

Samsung Galaxy A56 will be sold at a higher price

According to leaked information, the price of the starting model of the Galaxy A56 will be approximately £ 439. This shows that there is a price increase on a global scale. Considering the improvements made, the pricing of the Galaxy A56 seems to be in line with expectations in the premium mid-range segment.

Samsung’s new model is expected to be one of the remarkable devices of 2025 with its design and technical features. However, the accuracy of the leaked information will not be clear until the official launch date of the device.
