Samsung brings Galaxy AI features to more flagships

Samsung has confirmed that it will also offer the One UI 6.1 update for the 2021 and 2022 models of its Galaxy series flagships. With this update, Galaxy AI features will be available to users who own the devices in question. The new update will start in May and will be available first in South Korea.

However, a limitation has been introduced for 2021 model devices: These devices will only receive two AI features. These; It is a feature provided by Google called “Circle to Search” and Samsung called “Magic Rewrite”, which allows you to change the style and tone of messages via the Samsung Keyboard. These features aim to provide users with richer content.

Devices released in 2022 will have all the AI features offered in the Galaxy S23 FE model. However, the “Instant Slo-mo” feature was excluded from this update. This feature allows you to slow down videos by touching the screen, and it is stated that it is too heavy for the Exynos and Snapdragon processors that Samsung uses before 2023.

More flagship Samsung smartphones and tablets to receive Galaxy AI update

According to the statement made by a moderator of the Samsung Korea community, the 2021 and 2022 model flagships that will receive One UI 6.1 and Galaxy AI features are: Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 3, Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Tab S8 series.

The release date of the update was determined as early May. This date is especially valid for South Korea, and the update is expected to launch in some country markets this month. However, for definitive information, we need to wait for Samsung to announce more details.

This update will significantly improve the user experience, allowing Samsung users to get maximum efficiency from their devices. Artificial intelligence features, in particular, have the potential to make daily operations more fluid and effective. This once again reveals Samsung's innovative approach to technology.
