Samsung will expand AI features to its Galaxy S23 series, including the S23 FE, and its latest foldable phones and tablets with the One UI 6.1 update due in late March. For now, this update will be free, but after 2025 there may be a fee for these features.
Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 are among the devices that will receive the update, while Galaxy Tab S9, S9 Plus and S9 Ultra will also benefit from this innovation. Samsung aims to offer Galaxy AI technology to 100 million phones this year and is off to a solid start with this update. The One UI 6.1 update will include live translation, generative photo and video editing features, and Google’s Circle to Search feature, which attracted great attention in the S24 series. This suite of features will combine both on- and off-device processing techniques, just like the S24 series.
