News that Xiaomi was working on a model called Redmi 14C had recently come to the fore. The phone, which entered the IMEI database in June, was also seen to have a MediaTek Helio G81 processor thanks to the HyperOS codes. The smartphone has now appeared in the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) database.
Redmi’s C series usually includes affordable phones. Leaked specifications suggest that the 14C will be a phone that will be sufficient for daily tasks. It is also known that the smartphone will be released in different regions. Separate model numbers are offered for the global, Japanese, Indian and Chinese versions of the phone.
The record in the IMEI database also showed a different model number as “2409BRN2CL”. It is also possible to see this model number in the FCC records. Although the phone’s name is not mentioned in the database, it seems that the Redmi 14C is mentioned.
Redmi 14C will come with 5G support
The FCC filing shows that the Redmi 14C will come with 5G support and will run HyperOS out of the box. Other details remain unclear. However, it would not be a surprise to see new leaks in the coming period.
