The members of the Google Pixel 9 series are expected to come to users in three different size options. The image showing the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL models side by side was shared by famous tipster Evan Blass. In this way, it is possible to see both their similarities and compare their sizes.
In the image in question, all three Pixel 9 models are seen in black. This makes the similarities a little easier to spot. The Pixel 9 has two rear cameras, while the Pixel 9 Pro and 9 Pro XL have three cameras. It is also immediately noticeable that the screen frame is thicker on the Pixel 9.
The Android Authority website shared the screen features of the Pixel 9 series members. All three models come with Samsung’s M14 OLED panel. This panel provides better brightness and longer usage time. It is worth noting that the same panel is expected to be used in Apple’s iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models, which will be introduced in the fall.
All three members of the Google Pixel 9 series will come with 120Hz displays
The Pixel 9 will come with a 6.24-inch 2424 x 1080 pixel resolution 120 Hz display. The maximum brightness level of this display is expected to be 1800 nits.
The Pixel 9 Pro will have a screen size of 6.34 inches. The screen will have a resolution of 2856 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The maximum brightness level of the screen will be 2050 nits.
The Pixel 9 Pro XL is the largest member of the series with a 6.73-inch screen. The 2992 x 1344 pixel resolution screen will also meet users with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The Pixel 9 series will become official on August 13.
