Red Magic, which is under the roof of Nubia, introduced its new phones 9S Pro and Pro+. Both phones, which focus on the gaming experience, come with a reinforced processor and improved cooling system. In this processor called Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version, the main core works at 3.4 GHz. The GPU speed is 1 GHz.
Red Magic points out that the 9S Pro scored 2,369,452 points in AnTuTu’s benchmark test, which is the highest score in the Android ecosystem. The renewed ICE 13.5 cooling system comes with a 10182 mm² vapor chamber and cooling gel that reduces thermal resistance.
When the active cooling fan operating at 22000 RPM is activated, ICE 13.5 can reduce the phone’s temperature to 19.5°C. The original ICE 13 system used in the Red Magic 9 Pro and Pro+ can provide cooling up to 18°C.
The 9S Pro has a 6500mAh battery that supports 80W charging speed. The 9S Pro+ has a 5500mAh battery that supports 165W charging speed. While the 9S Pro’s battery is charged in 35 minutes, the 9S Pro+’s battery is charged in 16 minutes. At this point, it is worth emphasizing again that the 9S Pro+’s battery capacity is lower.
It is also possible to power smartphones directly from external power, without using the battery. This way, the phones heat up less and the risk of battery wear is reduced. Both phones are 8.9 mm thick and weigh 229 grams on the scale.
Both phones have a 6.8-inch flat OLED screen. The 16-megapixel front camera is also built into the screen. This screen, with a resolution of 2480 x 1116 pixels, has a refresh rate of 120 Hz. On the back, the 50-megapixel main camera is accompanied by a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera.
Red Magic has not missed the opportunity to add AI features to the new Red Magic 9.5 operating system. How much should I pay for the Red Magic 9S Pro and Pro+?
While the 9S Pro comes with 12 GB of RAM, there are 16 and 24 GB options for the 9S Pro+. While the storage options in the 9S Pro are 256 and 512 GB, 512 GB or 1 TB can be preferred for storage in the 9S Pro+. It is worth noting that the version offering 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage is defined as the “special version”.
The Red Magic 9S Pro and Pro+ models will be sold in China with prices ranging from 3,800 yuan (17,019) to 7,000 yuan (31,351 TL).
