Razer finally introduced the mobile game stream solution that players have been waiting for a long time. This new system, which conveys PC games to mobile devices, was announced under the name of Razer PC Remote Play. The application is currently available for free for Android and iOS operating systems. Windows 11 requires the system that runs on computers with installed computers, while mobile requires at least Android 14 and iOS 18.
This platform, which brings players the gaming experience on the PC to their mobile phones, maintains the natural resolution, renewal speed and width ratio of the screen. In this way, games can be transferred to mobile devices without the fall of the image quality. Razer claims to offer a structure to work with a minimum delay in terms of performance. In addition, the technical infrastructure of the platform is based on open -source software called Moonlight.
The system that works with Razer Nexus on mobile needs Razer Cortex on the PC side.
In order to operate the platform, certain software must be installed on both PC and mobile devices. The Cortex game launcher, which Razer offers with the renewed interface on the computer, must be installed. Cortex works in compatible with popular services such as Steam, Epic Games and PC Game Pass. On mobile devices, the Razer Nexus launcher and the remote play application must be installed.
The mobile application allows the control of the games to be controlled in the transfer of games to the mobile device. Razer Nexus can be accessed via game lists and starting processes can be made. Remote play application provides image flow. When two applications are used together, an uninterrupted experience can be offered.
This system, which was first introduced for the first time in CES 2025, was tested during the beta process for a while after the announcement. Razer has improved the application with the feedback he received during the Beta process and released his determined version. One of the most important innovations that attracted attention in this new version was AV1 Video Codec support. Thanks to AV1, lower data can be offered with lower data.
However, the system works smoothly with all iOS and Android -compatible controllers, including Razer Kishi Ultra. Android users who use Kishi Ultra have advanced vibration support called Sensa HD HAPTICS. This technology creates vibrating feedback by analyzing game sounds. The same hardware usually works in a similar way with the mechanism used by mobile devices in silent notifications.
The Razer PC Remote Play works in harmony with not only touch control, but also with external equipment. Especially for iPad users, the system is able to offer an extended game experience with the support of the system keyboard, mouse and trackpad. In this way, tablets become more suitable for games that require high sensitivity such as the first -person marksman. This support can turn the mobile device into a laptop.
However, the system is currently supporting the Windows operating system at the moment, some users may restrict some users. No support information has been provided for MacOS or Linux -based systems. Nevertheless, Remote Play is a remarkable alternative with wide controlling support and flexible structure it offers on mobile. The platform offers a practical solution, especially for users who want to play games in motion.
