Pointing to new Mac announcements from Apple executive: M4 chip models are on the way

Apple’s Senior Vice President of Product Marketing Greg Joswiak gave strong hints in his statement on social media that new Mac announcements will be made next week. In particular, the long-awaited M4 chip MacBook Pro, iMac and Mac Mini models are expected to be introduced this week. The promotion process of new products will start on Monday and continue throughout the week.

Mac models, which hold an important place in Apple’s product line, will undergo a comprehensive update process in 2024. Following the M3 chip-powered MacBook Pro models announced last year, new devices powered by the M4 chip are getting ready to meet users this year. According to analysts, the models to be introduced this week may include low- and high-end 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros, as well as a Mac Mini with a smaller size and updated design.

Design innovations are expected in iMac and Mac Mini

It is said that there will be some design changes, especially in the iMac and Mac Mini models. With the switch to the M4 chip, Apple is expected to make the Mac Mini more compact and the dimensions of the device will approach the Apple TV. In addition, with the performance increases brought by the M4 chip, these models are expected to be more efficient in business and daily use.

Leaks and leaked information in the technology world give clues about when these announcements will be made. The fact that some YouTubers, especially from Russia, share videos of MacBook Pro models with M4 chips shows that the launch of the new devices is very close. Last year, Apple introduced its M3 chip products at an event called “Scary Fast”. This year, it is expected that the products will be introduced with different announcements to be made throughout the week, without holding a major event.

Pricing and technical details of the new Mac models that Apple will announce this week are not yet clear. However, performance improvements are expected with the M4 chip and these new models are thought to be a serious alternative, especially for professional users.
