Oppo Find X8 Series introduced, global launch coming soon

Oppo introduced the long-awaited Find X8 series with its launch event in China. The new series draws attention especially with its camera and performance-oriented features. It was announced that the series, consisting of two models, Find X8 and Find X8 Pro, will also be offered to markets outside China.

Both models are powered by MediaTek’s new generation Dimensity 9400 chipset. This chip is built on 3nm architecture and increases the performance and energy efficiency of devices. Find Both devices have adaptive refresh rates ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz.

Advanced camera features in the Oppo Find X8 series

Oppo Find X8 Pro has a rear camera setup equipped with four 50 MP sensors. Two of these sensors stand out as telephoto lenses that provide 3x and 6x optical zoom. The standard Find X8 model does not have a 6x telephoto lens and only 3x zoom is offered in this model. Still, both devices offer a powerful camera experience with the HyperTone image engine developed by Oppo and artificial intelligence-supported features. Additionally, these devices also feature a camera button similar to the “Camera Control” in Apple’s iPhone series. With this touch-sensitive button, users can quickly turn on the camera and control the zoom.

As for the battery capacity, Find X8 Pro has a capacity of 5,910 mAh, while Find X8 has a capacity of 5,630 mAh. Both models can be charged very quickly with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging support. There is also 50W wireless charging support, which is compatible with Oppo’s new “Mag” charging accessories. However, the functionality of these MagSafe-like accessories is not found on the phones themselves, but only in the special cases offered by Oppo.

Although Oppo’s Find X series is followed by a large user base, especially in terms of camera performance, it is known that the brand has not offered this series to the global market for a while. This situation changes with the Find X8 series; Oppo plans to offer this series for sale in markets outside China. In this context, certification processes for the Indian and Southeast Asian markets have been initiated. However, it is not expected to be introduced to the US market. Although the global launch dates of the devices are not yet clear, this step aims to re-accelerate the brand’s global competition.
