Oppo’s foldable new model appeared with a patent file

Oppo attracted attention in the foldable phone market with the Find N3 Flip model introduced in 2023. There hasn’t been a new update since that model, and the brand has remained silent in this segment. Now, a new patent application for WIPO points out that this silence may soon be broken. The drawings in the application reveal a design that Oppo has not used before but overlaps with the Flip series. This phone is expected to become official as Oppo Find N5 Flip.

The exterior design of the device has traces from the previous Flip models, but it is decomposed in some aspects. The lid screen is also positioned on the side, and the cameras are lined up right next to it. However, the camera module is available in a combined island form with a larger structure. This structure brings to mind some foldable models of Samsung at first glance.

Oppo Find N5 Flip Design includes three cameras and large cover screen

The cameras shown in the patent are three in total and this number is still rare for foldable phones with lid. The previous model, Find N3 Flip, also came with a triple camera, but the settlement was different. This new order is closer to the position in the Find N2 Flip. Nevertheless, the camera island design has a significant more modern line.

The size of the cover screen seems to be remarkable. This overlapses with the trend of the large cover screen that has recently increased. Manufacturers are trying to make this area more useful so that users can access basic functions without opening their phones. Oppo may also follow this trend to allocate more space to the cover screen.

Another element that attracts attention as the number of cameras is the design of the camera island. The choice of a wide module rather than round lenses gives a different identity to the back of the phone. This type of design can provide a strong claim of the device not only functionality but also aesthetically. In addition, the proximity of the camera module to the cover screen may directly affect the user experience.

Although this design has not turned into a real product, the drawings resemble a very detailed and ready -made structure. However, it is known that companies do such patents frequently and not all of them are released. In other words, it is not yet clear that this model will actually be offered to users under the name “Find N5 Flip .. Nevertheless, the general structure of the design shows that Oppo continues to work in this area.

The details offered by the brand with this patent suggest that the device will offer an advanced experience in terms of software, not only hardware but also software. The large cover screen and multi -camera combination can promise users a wide range of use. This structure can provide practical solutions, especially for users who produce social media content. In addition, the triple camera is expected to be improved not only in number but also in quality.

The competition in the foldable telephone market is further with each passing day. Samsung’s Z Flip Series and Motorola’s razr models are among the most well -known players in this category. Oppo does not remain silent here, especially for a brand that wants to increase its effectiveness in the Asian market. It seems possible that the drawings on the patent will be interpreted in this direction.
