OpenAI is preparing to rival Google with its search engine

OpenAI can be described as the organization that has created the biggest shake-up in the technology industry in recent years. With ChatGPT and the productive artificial intelligence experience it offered, the company forced the giant brands of technology to adopt artificial intelligence features. OpenAI now seems to be preparing to challenge Google with its search engine.

In The Information’s news, it is stated that OpenAI is working on a “web search product”. The news also states that the service may be partially provided by Microsoft’s Bing search engine.

It remains unclear whether this will be a separate service from ChatGPT. At this point, it is worth remembering that ChatGPT offers the “Browse with Bing” feature within the framework of the ChatGPT Plus subscription.

If this claim turns out to be true, it will be the first time that OpenAI has challenged Google so openly. While the search engine remains Google’s flagship, search ads remain the company’s largest revenue item.

OpenAI search engine must avoid Google’s traps

The biggest question here is whether the OpenAI search engine can be superior to Google. Google has long been criticized for highlighting low-quality websites that use AI-generated content and SEOs. Due to these criticisms, the internet giant had embarked on a new study focusing on product management. In order for OpenAI to beat Google, it must avoid the same traps that Google once fell into.
