The OnePlus Ace 5 series is expected to be introduced before the end of this year. The series is expected to come with two models, the Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro. Famous tipster Digital Chat Station provided information about the Ace 5’s processor, battery and charging speed. Another tipster with the nickname Wisdom Pikachu shared an important detail about the phone’s case.
As a reminder, the OnePlus Ace 3 was announced in China at the beginning of this year in black, blue, and rose gold colors. All three options featured a glass back panel. According to Wisdom Pikachu’s post, OnePlus will include a ceramic back panel in the Ace 5. The phone will get the energy it needs from a 6000 mAh battery with 100W charging support. Like its predecessor, the Ace 5 will come without wireless charging support.
It is almost certain that the Ace 5 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. The phone will come with a 50-megapixel main camera and will come out of the box with OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15.
OnePlus Ace 5 to be sold under a different name outside China
The Ace 5 will come with a 6.78-inch curved OLED display. The 8T LTPO panel will offer 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. A notification slider is also counted among the parts of OnePlus’ new phone. It is almost certain that the smartphone, like its predecessors, will be sold outside of China under a different name. It would not be a surprise to hear more news about the Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro in the coming period.
