Samsung's big AI-powered One UI 6.1 update will be coming to last year's flagship phones very soon. The company had previously announced that all AI features introduced with the Galaxy S24, S24 + and S24 Ultra in January will also come to the Galaxy S23, S23 +, S23 Ultra, S23 FE, Z Flip 5 and Z Fold 5.

This update is planned to be released on March 28, that is, next Thursday. The distribution may not start worldwide on the same day, but it looks like it will happen in at least a few regions, as evidenced by notifications received by owners of the above-mentioned devices.

Samsung's South Korean office announced the date of March 28 last week. A confirmation about the date also came from the company's China office. While the date of March 28 was mentioned again in the company's community forums, it was reminded that the S23 FE will be one of the parts of the first update wave. Until now, Samsung preferred to update its FE models a little later.

Galaxy AI may reach all compatible devices in April

Considering how update distributions work, One UI 6.1 may take up to April to be delivered to all compatible devices worldwide. However, it now seems certain that the process will begin this week.
