Nvidia announced that it is very close to the full version of the beta application it developed for graphics processors (GPU) and announced that it plans to switch all GeForce Experience users to this new application by the end of the year. Nvidia has accelerated its preparations by adding several new features to the application. These features include turning G-Sync on and off, multi-monitor support for RTX HDR, and driver rollback functions. Additionally, the app will now be able to notify you when ShadowPlay is playing DRM content that may stop your recording.
According to Nvidia, the remaining features of the Nvidia Control Panel will be added with future updates to the application. These features include surround options, custom resolutions and multi-monitor setup. The Nvidia application, which was first introduced in February, will completely take over GeForce Experience and Nvidia Control Panel.
The new application also offers the opportunity to change font styles for easier reading of statistics, frame rates and other information. Users can choose from “thousands of colors” for the application interface. Additionally, user-specific sorting and filtering of games and applications has now been made permanent, and the option to hide or remove manually added programs is also available.
RTX HDR support was first announced for video content, but it also offers very impressive results for games. To take advantage of this feature, you can turn on Nvidia’s overlay by pressing Alt + Z while in game, select “Game Filter” and enable HDR.
Nvidia aims to provide users with a more comprehensive experience by enabling all GeForce Experience users to switch to this new application by the end of the year.
