iPhone SE 4 will come with Face ID and Apple Intelligence, without a home button

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, an iPhone SE that offers a modern iPhone experience and resembles other models that are not budget-friendly may be released early next year. Gurman stated once again today that this new phone, called iPhone SE 4, will have Face ID and work with Apple Intelligence.

The fact that the new iPhone SE models support Apple Intelligence indicates that it will be a powerful device in terms of performance. Because running local artificial intelligence features requires a significant amount of RAM. The iPhone SE 4, unlike previous models, is expected to have a design similar to the iPhone 14 by losing its thick top and bottom frames and home button. These innovations will be a first for an entry-level iPhone. In addition, the fact that the device comes with an OLED screen stands out as another important change that shows a move away from traditional LCD screens.

Gurman also wrote that in the period when the new iPhone SE models will be released, Apple will also introduce new iPad Air models equipped with internal improvements in 11 and 13 inch sizes. Along with these iPads, new Magic Keyboards will be released for both sizes, which will have iPad Pro keyboard features.

Finally, according to Gurman; Apple will introduce its new computers with the M4 chip before the end of this year. These models will include a smaller Mac Mini, new MacBook Pros and iMacs. It is also stated that an iPad Mini update is also possible.

iPhone SE 4 will be ahead of its predecessors

Gurman’s statements show that the iPhone SE 4 will be a much more advanced device than previous SE models, especially with innovations such as artificial intelligence features and OLED screen. Apple seems to be preparing to take the SE series, which it generally positions as budget-friendly, to the next level with these new features. In particular, Apple Intelligence support indicates that this new device can perform advanced artificial intelligence operations. This means that although it is an entry-level phone in Apple’s portfolio, it can offer a high-performance user experience.

In addition, the improvements to be made in the internal hardware of the iPad Air models and the iPad Pro-like features that come with the new Magic Keyboards show that Apple aims to increase its competitiveness in the tablet field. With new Mac models with M4 processors and a possible iPad Mini update, it looks like Apple will offer innovative devices across a wide range of products.
