Nothing Phone (4b) appeared in the Geekbench database shortly before its official launch. So far, the company has only shared limited hints about the design of the device. However, the new record seen in the performance test revealed the basic technical features of the phone, such as its processor, memory capacity and software version. Nothing Phone 4b is planned to be introduced on July 7 in certain global markets, especially India.
It is stated that the device listed on Geekbench with the model number A009P is Nothing Phone 4b. According to test results, the phone is powered by Qualcomm’s SM6650 platform. This chipset is known commercially as Snapdragon 6 Gen 4. While the list shows that the device was tested with 8 GB RAM, there is Adreno 810 GPU on the graphics side. In the software section, there is information indicating that the phone will come out of the box with the Android 16 operating system.
It comes with Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 and Android 16
Looking at the Geekbench performance results, Nothing Phone (4b) achieved 1,088 points in the single-core test and 3,155 points in the multi-core test. Although synthetic test results do not directly reflect the daily usage experience, they show that the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 platform aims to offer balanced performance and energy efficiency in the mid-segment. 8 GB RAM capacity also indicates a hardware level that can meet current expectations in multitasking. In addition, the fact that it will come with Android 16 means that the device will offer the latest Android version from day one.
Considering Nothing’s position in the product range, Phone (4b) is expected to be below the Phone 4a series. Thus, it is estimated that the company will offer a new model that appeals to the more accessible price segment. The first promotional images shared by Nothing show that the brand’s transparent design approach will be preserved in this model. In addition, it is stated that a lighting system similar to the LED lighting strip used in the Phone 4a series may also be included in the Phone (4b). This design approach is among the most distinctive elements that distinguish Nothing phones from their competitors.
For now, technical details such as the device’s screen size, camera system, battery capacity and fast charging support have not been disclosed. Despite this, the Geekbench recording reveals the first concrete information about the phone’s hardware preferences. It is expected that other technical features of the product will become clear with the official promotional posts of Nothing in the coming days. It seems possible that more comprehensive information about the Phone (4b) will be shared with new certificate records and leaks until the launch event. The model, which will bring together Snapdragon 6 Gen 4, Android 16 and Nothing’s unique design line, is expected to target users positioned between the entry and middle segments.
